We are super excited to release the brand new website that we created with the Billy Graham Association whatiskeepingyou.com

We created this website as a way to address the main spiritual issues that keep people from God, with the hopes of helping people overcome these issues through the love of Christ. We are grateful for the Billy Graham Association’s partnership in this website; they have included a link at the bottom of the site that gives people the opportunity to talk with someone about their decision to follow Jesus or ask a question.

We hope that you check out the site and watch the videos, and please share this website with someone that might need to see it!

When people look at your life what do you want them to see? Shaun Hover explains why he lives his life on display.

Scotland

September 2, 2016

I have been blessed to get to travel to so many amazing and beautiful places, and God constantly reminds me of His brilliance and majesty in the sight of His creation. I got to spend a week in Scotland touring the country and telling people about Jesus, and God truly blessed the time I spent there and the relationships that I made. Thanks to Creation Festival for bringing me out and can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Messages for Jacob

August 15, 2016

I met Jacob on a recent trip to Texas to run a skate camp. I needed help instructing the campers, so I begged Jacob to show up the next morning and help me teach. I didn’t know anything about him, wasn’t aware of the hardships he was dealing with; I just saw a young gifted skateboarder that loved Jesus and worked well with the kids.

I was watching him skate the mini ramp outside of the park, and the combination of his style and the surrounding just looked so photogenic, so I grabbed my camera and tried my best to capture that moment; no finished product in mind, and really no intention behind any of the clips. Later that day his Grandmother came to pick him up, and never meeting me before she walks up to me weeping and hugs me, thanking me for what I did for Jacob. I was confused thinking “I should be thanking Jacob for coming to the camp and helping me”, until she explained that Jacob’s mom passed away three days ago.

How can someone suffering a massive loss give so much of themselves for others, and how can someone in the midst of their mourning bring joy to the people around them? I was inspired by Jacob’s strength, and knew that I wanted to do something for him. When I got home I contacted a bunch of Jacobs friends and people that love him, and asked them to leave encouraging messages for Jacob on my voicemail so I could give them to him. I wanted to make a video that would encourage him half as much as he encouraged me, and I want him to know that we love him and are praying for him.

Texas

July 22, 2016

I was blessed to get to travel to Texas two weekends in a row with Brian Sumner and Beaver Fleming to do outreach events. The first weekend we went to Houston to do an skate contest outreach with Truth Riders skate ministry, and the second weekend was spent in Austin hosting the Extol Skate Jam. Praise God for opportunities to tell people about Jesus in public skateparks!

Sometimes I go on a trip with a very narrow expectation of what is going to happen. Wether it be an event or Church service, I get so focused on the main reason for my being there that I sometimes neglect to realize that maybe God wants to do so much more than what was scheduled. God blessed me in unexpected ways on my past trip to Texas, and I am grateful that He used me not only in the way that I planned to be used. It is a reminder to be prepared in season and out to share the hope we have in Christ, because one spontaneous opportunity to share the message of Jesus might change someones life.

I am so grateful for opportunities to meet people, it is so encouraging to hear stories and see the way that God is working through people all around the world. It puts into perspective the fact that we are all family in the body of Christ, and that He has a unique plan for all of us to be used for His glory. Grateful that I got to go to Canada to encourage and be encouraged by people.canada, ontario, barrie, flag
